Glitch Boy was inspired by MissingNo a Glitch in Pokemon Red and Blue on the Gameboy.  In Glitch Boy's first appearance he is seen in a gameboy.  Here he is Glitching a Game Boy.  You can get the Glitch Tee or the Regular Tee

Following the events of Glitch Boy 2, Glitch Boy was found to be stuck in a virtual simulation called The Nexus.  Though the colors are not Green tone like a Gameboy it takes Glitch into Mega Man's 8bit roots.
